It’s always great to discover dedicated groups of paintball devotees who, for no reason other than the love of the game, go above and beyond what the average fan what would do. At Bedlam, we applaud this!

These guys above, Paintball Marshals, must surely be one of the oldest paintball teams on earth, right? Forming in Brockton, Massachusetts in 1992, four paintball referees and friends decided to take their hobby further by establishing a pretty hardcore team of die-hard paintballers, who play old school, stock-class paintball – the way it used to be played.

They named their squad Paintball Marshals after the commonly used European term for a paintball referee. Check out their website for a load more information, including some of the pretty cool equipment they still use; like single shot pump-action markers!

If scoping out vintage paintball equipment is your thing too, you could do a lot worse than checking out Vintage Rex. This online haven of collectible paintball apparel does a fine job in preserving the sport’s heritage and hosts a bunch of images and videos of the crème-de-la-crème of paintball markers, grenades and masks. Sweet…

We’ll hopefully be showcasing some more top paintball affeciandos who have brought their A-game to the international paintball arena, but if you know anyone (international, local or whatever) who you think we should feature, get in touch.

In the meantime though, we’ll make do with sticking one of these on our Christmas list!
