In movies, you just know the guy’s goosed when the little red dot starts tracing across him or, in police siege scenes, lots of little red dots are projected onto him. Can they work in paintball though, I thought?
Well yes and no. I’m pretty sure the actual sights and scopes that project said red dots onto targets are pretty steep in price (predictably), though I did find some surprisingly cheap alternatives, but a standard red-dot sight needn’t be.
These give you a standard scope-style sight, which features a red dot at its centre, so you always know whether or not your target is centred and a guaranteed hit. To explain it hopefully a little better, here’s a video I found. Interesting stuff though….
