Time flies when you’re having fun huh? It seems like only yesterday that MW2 was released and now we’ve just read that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is out in the UK on 8th November: let the countdown begin!
In a salute to this hyper-realistic and adrenalin pumping series of games, we’re going to be keeping a running commentary going on the latest developments, trailers, buzz around the release and more as November draws close.
Infinity Ward, the creative developers behind the game, have promised MW3 will pack more punch than any of its predecessors; and they’ve already dismissed claims that the games’ storylines are getting too close to real for some players. Their strategist, Bob Bowling, said this:
“I’m not too worried about it because the conflict that’s raging in Modern Warfare 3 is very different from any real life scenario because this is a war, this is a full-on Russian military invasion of the entire US that started in Modern Warfare 2”.
He went on to give a little more away about what gamers could expect to see in terms of plot and MO.
“They have already disabled Washington DC and the war has just organically been progressing off the East Coast and the New York is a major city that would… So this is very different because it’s full-on military fighting through the streets, so I think that’s going to be very clear once people play it and get hands-on and see what type of conflict this is, and then it spreads to the other major cities.”
If this isn’t enough to whet your appetite for now, how about the latest official MW3 trailer?
